Dear Members,

The Monroe Township Braves Organization was established in February 2002 and exists solely for the youth of Monroe Township. Our mission is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, the value of discipline, dedication, teamwork, respect, and most of all to SIMPLY HAVE FUN!!!

I would like to personally thank everyone associated with the Organization, both past and present, for making the Monroe Township Braves what we are today. The Braves have become one of the most respected youth football and cheerleading organizations, not only in southern New Jersey, but across the country.  The Braves Board, Coaches, Sponsors, Parents and most of all, the Children should be commended for their countless hours of dedication and commitment to the Braves Family and the Community.

In just nine seasons the Braves have enjoyed great success, winning six (6) League Championships, fourteen (14) Conference Championships and an overwhelming number of Division Championships. The Lady Braves have also consistently placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in all Cheerleading Competitions, with our 70 lb. team winning the Garden State Championship in 2003 and our 120 lb team winning the Inaugural SJE Cheer Championship in 2009. The Monroe Township Braves have been recognized by local newspapers and television news stations, as well as the nationally televised “Good Morning America” show for commitment to the Community and compassion for others.

In 2007 the Monroe Township Braves established a scholarship fund and awarded W.H.S. seniors with $500.00 scholarships to assist them in furthering their education after high school graduation. Congratulations to all of our recipients !

After completing our 9th season in 2011, we should be proud of our many accomplishments. I know I am extremely proud of all of you and I am looking forward to seeing all of our coaches, parents and participants return for another successful season in 2012. Congratulations to all of the graduating participants of the Monroe Township Braves and I wish you well in your high school endeavors and beyond.

I would like to also take this opportunity to welcome all of our new parents and participants and encourage you to become very involved in our program. I assure you that it will be a tremendous experience.

 Thank You and GO BRAVES!!!
